Monday started the week with a practice run of the students 3 minute pitches and Dallas Amsden (dallasamsden.com), came back to help give direct feedback on their pitches. THANK YOU Dallas!!
The first few pitches on Monday left most students with the obvious need to continue to tweak presentations, really focus on what words were needed for each slide and the reality of how short 3 minutes can actually be! In reading journal entries tonight, I love the students reflection on where they were on Monday and what was required of them to work through their pitches to have success on Thursday. While there were a few designated prizes, there is feedback from each one - recognizing the struggle, knowing the work to stand up in front of an audience and so very proud of their progress and accomplishments - no matter prize money or not! This is all a WIN.
This class is all about experience and growing. It's amazing to watch. If you missed Fish Tank and want to hear more from these students, please be our guest at the Investor Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, April 15. There are plenty of spots available, but we need to have numbers for planning! RSVP here: https://forms.gle/fk9oHH9MWqoK118i6
